  • I just wish they are sold in Australia to give peace of mind regarding the warranty i.e. 2 years consumer warranty.

Really want to get One+6T but none of the Australian stores sell them.

    • Kogan is an Australian retailer, which sells OnePlus.
Surely, Kogan would honor the Australian consumer law, no?
Do they make u jump thru hoops?

      • same phone is $949 on Kogan. No thanks.

        • You must be looking at the 6t, the 6 is $749

          • @KingSlayyer: Oops, yeah, you're right. Still a shitty price though.

            • @dv1den: But with Australian consumer protection / warranty

@i0k-0RU2zd10c: Can confirm that they do have good protection. My Nexus 5X purchased from them started bootlooping, I had to send it to them for free - and then they sent me a brand new one with zero charge.

    • I just bought the oneplus 6t from an ebay store. Midnight black, 8gb ram and 128gb storage. Was $768 - 10% from the PRIZE deal. Total was $691 and I assume any Australian eBay retailer comes under consumer law (I hope)

My advice to all of you save your hard earned money and never buy from this buyer. Lots of us have gone through a very hard time to get our money refunded for the same phone on previous deals. So do yourself a favour and invest in some other trusty seller.

    • Can we get Joybuy banned from Ozbargain?

      • It all depends on the OZB moderators. If there are enough complaints about this seller they should definitely do so. It has been done before for some other websites.

Agreed, I had to do a PayPal investigation. Avoid unless it's super cheap because any hassles means you will spend time and money following it up!

Definitely a seller to stay away from. I had bought the same phone from them on 10th Nov. The phone got sent back to them by the customs and they recommended they send it again but the shipping duration would be 30 days instead.

I cancelled my order at the start of this month and am still waiting to be refunded. Its a complete waste of time and I would recommend everyone to just buy from a Australian seller instead even if it costs a little extra.

    • My order wasn't caught in time to be cancelled. It took 30 days rather than the advertised 8-12 but mine arrived just fine. Using it now

  • Better off buying from eBay can get them for $579.60 using code PRIZE
Look for the one priced at $644 as seller is located as an AU warehouse
Can't post as a deal as only 1 available

i bought oneplus 6 8 gb from joybuy on singles day. it never arrived even after 1 month waiting. joybuy customer service was so poor..they told me phone is delayed because customs are not allowing li-ion items. i told them to cancel my order and they wouldnt and said the parcel is with shipping company now. so i thought i will wait (was not in a hurry to get the phone). again i thought about checking the updated status and spoke with customer service. he or she said that parcel has been intercepted. i was happy but thought i asked what you mean by intercepted. they said they have located the phone and it will be sent back to joybuy because i cancelled my order(which i never did). at this stage my patience level broke and i opened paypal dispute case. the guy on paypal said my phone is on the way, while their customer service saying it has been cancelled. i again spoke with customer service and this time i said GIVE ME MY MONEY and told them i opened a dispute. then only they refunded it. many others who ordered around that date faced similar issues.

after this i ordered from 7272wil from ebay for 590 silk white edition. phone arrived in 4 days. F*** u joybuy

    • 7272wil is great, they have been around for yeeeeeears too I remember buying a Sony phone off their eBay probably 10 years ago.

I would put my hand up to band Joybuy if they have such bad reputation. We surely don't want others to be in the same situation.

    • support of this if it's true…

Negative to deal with joybuy. Other deals around that are comparable in price. Avoid this company.
