OfficeOne IP900 Camera Setup Help Needed

Hello All,

In our last hard rubbish run, I managed to find an OfficeOne IP900 Camera, which to my eyes…when plugged in seems to be functioning.

My issue is I dont know how to set it up. I cant seem to find a manual for it, nor can I find any setup software. I have pushed the rest button on the camera which caused it to make a buzzing noise and it seemed to go through its self-diagnostics. But that is all I have.

Any chance someone can point me in the right direction on this please.

TIA..

Brant

Hence why it was in the rubbish ;)

If its an IP camera, as the name suggests, then you should be able to view it with either an IP viewing program, or through a browser. If you have a router, plug it into the router, and then go to the router diagnostic page to see what IP address its been supplied. Even if its wireless, you still have to plug it in at first to setup the wireless connection details. Type the IP address into a browser and see what comes up

If you can't get that to work, try downloading Yawcam and putting the details in there

    • Great minds think alike.

Did all of that and nothing worked. But I will give Yawcam a go.

      Thanks

        Hmm

So it didn't even register an IP address?

        • No no…I plugged it into the router and it did get an address from DHCP. I looked out router diagnostics and there it is I can see it. I can ping it.

Problem is when I put that IP into a browser I get nothing…This site cant be reached. I trying to make the connection via wireless, but I dont think that should be an issue. I have tried a couple of other scanners and also had no luck.

@BrantRaven: Okay. It might have a webpage hosted on it. Try things like 192.x.x.x\viewer.htm or \config.htm or \setup.htm or \host.htm or \start.htm

There also could be issues with port compatibility. If those things don't work above, try plugging it directly to your computer

            • @outlander: That you for your assistance @outlander.

At this point I have pretty much tried everything with unfortunately very little luck. I don't like it, but I am now on the giveup highway.
              :(

              • @BrantRaven: Hey, you gave it a shot. Now its time to cast it back into the darkness from whence it came
