  • How is this different to the BW-FWC1 /BW-FWC3 /BW-FWC4 ?

    • +1

It doesn't seem to support QC 3.0 like the BW-FWC4

    • +2

Well, based on the specs listed at BlitzWolf:
      BW-FWC1 doesn't do 7.5W (also is QC 2.0)
      BW-FWC3 only does 5W
The specs for the BW-FWC4 aren't clear: the description is "7.5W/10W Wireless Charger" but the elsewhere it says the max output is 15W. Banggood and this online review have the same contradiction. Couldn't see a mention of QC 2.0 or 3.0. It doesn't help that it's currently bundled with an 18W QC 3.0 charger to further complicate things.
Neither Banggood nor BlitzWolf seem to mention whether the BW-FWC5 does QC 2.0 or 3.0.

  • If you have a metal plate stuck on the back of your phone for car docks, do these wireless chargers still work or not anymore?

    • Works sometimes. Best to take off the metal plate.

    • +1

Chances are no, if the metal plate blocks the Wireless Coils then it won't work.

Look at Pitaka Cases they make Carbon Fibre Cases with medal plates inside which sits around the Wireless Coil.
Allowing you to use it with their magnetic phone holders with wireless charging in car, and still works with any other wireless charger.
Unfortunately it's only with phones they make cases for, I have one with my Note 8.

Then there's SnapMount which I've been seeing all over Facebook/Instagram.
Which is a round metal plate which sticks onto the back of your phone, around the Wireless Coils.

I've never used or seen the SnapMount in person.

  • How long from China? :(

    • +1

I think her name is spelled Hau Long. And she's from Vietnam.

      • +1

That would make her Hau Luong.

        • My pre-order was shipped 27 December and arrived 14 January. Still waiting for the wall adapter that was shipped 16 December.
