[SOLVED] Weird Issues With Chrome Browser

Hi all, experienced weird issues with my Chrome browser.

First, out of sudden, I couldn't login to my internet banking page from ANZ & BoQ. BoQ won't let me login, while ANZ will log me out as soon as I clicked on account info. (Bankwest & Citibank are fine though).

Second, I couldn't check out on Amazon.com.au. As soon as I click "deliver to this add", it will bring me back to "proceed to checkout" page.

In both examples, they're fine with internet explorer. Tried clearing cache, history with chrome and still the same. Any idea what is going on with my Chrome here? Very frustrating! Didn't happen before too, only in the last few weeks I noticed it.

    Try incognito mode, does it still do it?

      Yep, all worked fine in incognito…so what's the reason behind it then?

        Either your extensions or the data in the browser.
        You say you've already cleared the cache but there's also "cookies and other site data". Delete with control+shift+delete (or command+shift+delete).
        You can try disabling your extensions to see if it fixes it. I'm guessing it's the site data though.

    Have you tried turning it off and on again? Seriously though, try and uninstall and then reinstall Chrome.

    Have you run a scan with a good malware or spyware program?
    Other option may be to uninstall it and reinstall? or even better… use firefox.

      I got so many passwords saved on Chrome, plus I use the cast function a lot on prime video..

        Lastpass works for me. Just cant bring myself to trust google with all my passwords.

        You can transfer all bookmarks and passwords from chrome to firefox, i recently did it because chrome was annoying me on certain websites i visit often.

    OK guys, uninstall and reinstall works. Finger crosed it stays that way

    I switched to Brave browser a few weeks back, it's chromium based like Chrome but I haven't had any issues with it at all.
