Korean Wine Soju, Where to Buy/Order

Basically looking for others input on where they order soju from online, if anyone does.

I have found the main big brand shops to have some but prices are high and selection not great.

I am searching for the brand, Good Day. Which I want to get and have found a site called winesaver.com.au but they charge excessive for delivery. Cheapest compared to the big brand alcohol shops.

Other options I will look into is going into the korean stores and finding out if they sell bulk.

The wine is easy drinking and mainly just like to get some for myself, with the odd parties and social meetings.

  • For variety, just get plain Soju.

At home blend it with frozen fruit to make flavored Soju fruit smoothies yourself.

    • How much do you pay for a bottle? And that doesn't seem like a bad idea at all.

      • I live in Kuala Lumpur, about $5-6 AU.

For smoothies we buy the big plastic bottles of the stuff, I think they're about 1.5-2L

The only problem with making Soju smoothies is you get really smashed without noticing how drunk you're getting.
There are lots of cocktails you can make with Soju as well.

        You can also try:
        1 part Soju
        1 part Yakult
        Grape soda like San Pellegrino
Shake the Soju and Yajult with ice, then add the soda in the glass.

        • $5-$6 a bottle is the price I am after!

  • Do you mean the wine-flavoured soju or just normal soju? Either way, they are usually cheaper in Korean supermarkets compared to normal bottle shops in Melb/Syd at least.

    • Both to be honest, flavoured would be good incase I have guests over and easier to serve without having to have other mixers. Just trying to cover all situations haha

In Perth cheapest I've seen is $10 a bottle. Then can go to $13-$14 in Dan Murphy's etc.

  • KT Mart in melbourne sells the cheapest Soju - check if they would ship to you?

    • Thanks I'll have a search

      • went there yesterday and they have all good day flavours

  • BWS

  • Have anyone tried using winesaver.com.au site before? How is their service?
Also tried contacting KTMart but no luck in shipping.

    BWS dont stock the brand.

I still can't find any local stickiest or importers online for this brand.

    • I can purchase and ship to you if you really are desperate ^^

  • Haha all good.
    I went with winesaver
Shipping was $39 a carton which worked out just bit cheaper than store. And had tried few flavours. Do not get blueberry! Taste like medicine
    Grape is good!
