Changing Air Filter and Cabin Air Filter Void Warranty ?

Hi, I purchased a Toyota Corolla through Suttons Toyota. I have a 3 years standard auto protection from Suttons.

I wondering if I change the air filter and the cabin air filter myself, does it void my 3 years auto protection?

I don't think so, as long as you replace them with the same make/model/OEM ones :)

"I have a 3 years standard auto protection."
In the T&Cs of that do they state that servicing must be carried out by the dealership or a licenced mechanic?
If so then they should replace those items during regular servicing.

Thank every one, just ring up ask, they comfirm if fitted with the genuine part. Will not void the warranty. Only warranty void if use third party part.

  • john cadogan states that the ACCC and the consumer law overrides any dealer statements which contradict the law.
you can see his site for details.
service does not need to be done at the dealer.
the ACCCC made this clear many times.
