Bought on New Balance Website but Unable to Contact Customer Service for Refund

I am wondering whether anyone's got the same experience. Bought 2 pairs of shoes from new balance website and they don't fit, website says that you can email or call customer service to get an authority number and then you can fill out a form on Auspost and return for free within 30 days. I have emailed twice, no reply, I have also called them and it only asked you to leave message and they will call back but I never got a call back.

What can I do in this situation? I really hope that they are just too busy and just catching up from all the back orders etc…. Delivery was super fast though…

I don't know about them, but I know a lot of work places were shut during this period, I assume today is the first day back and they spent the day in some sort of meeting about how they will work better into the new year. So I doubt much will be happening until end of the week/start of next week.

    • I am hoping the same… however my first contact was made a week before xmas….

  • Yep same as me, called and emailed today… no response yet!

i wouldn't be too worried, i've had the same experience in the past and kept emailing/calling them. after finally speaking to someone they told me they were understaffed in the customer service area. don't know why they can't implement an online returns process like Surfstitch, rather than having to get a RAN

  • go on their facebook page and do live chat, that's the only way my wife got the return authorisation from them. That was like 6 months ago so if it still persist I think they must've been doing this trick to discourage return.

    • Thanks, i will contact them on fb now…. it's annoying how they don't respond!!!

  • Avoid sketchers too. They don't have a proper customer service. Only email is available, no hotline number at all.
Got $120 and its faulty. Store won't help me.
