    First impressions article

    PUBG PS4 looks like the PC version running below minimum settings
    Electric transmission lines and fences are dots instead of properly formed objects (and wouldn't look out of place in a PS2 game) to details like grass and walls popping in as you get close, PUBG PS4 looks rough even on a PS4 Pro regardless of the map.
    It doesn't feature some of the slick effects the Xbox One X version has such as enhanced lighting and foliage.

    It also runs @ 30fps.

    I was excited when it popped up on Game Pass, but with plenty of other high-quality battle royale games out now, it felt like hot garbage.

      Wow. I dont understand why someone would choose this over say, Black ops if they wanted a similiar version.

    I have it on both the PS4P and XB1X. PS version runs a lot better and holds the frame rates. XB version looks a lot better (due to 4k). Also you can get Oceania games within seconds on the PS, whereas those servers are dead on the XB.

    Fortnite and COD are better polished games no doubt… But PUBG had a tension to its matches that I like. Each to their own I guess.

      It's the anxiety of being alone and the slower pace that relies more on the rng of surrounding pickups.

      CoD is a pile of poop, fortnite is full of 12yos. PUBG is pretty good, I do get stuck in a lot of Asian games though. The lag isn't too bad though.

  Brought the game on ps4 yesterday. Played 2 games, gonna return it asap. Very broken game..

  I WANT desperately to think this is a good deal but to be honest I don't expect to pay either $40 for Pubg PS4 or $60 for PSN
