Haven't seen this course posted here before so thought I'd share :).

I know these are beginner courses, but it seems all courses never go beyond simple functions.
Where are objects and classes?
If you're learning programming through internet courses and not through uni or with accredited courses or textbooks then you're probably not dedicated enough / smart enough to stick through learning that (people learning through random internet lessons probably want to see instant results from each thing they learn).
Anyway I would be interested if it was a Java or C++ or C# course not teaching object oriented concepts but python is just a scripting language and you don't need it unless you come from an object oriented background and feel the need to bring over what you're used to to each new language you learn.
That makes sense. I've done a beginners uni course in software engineering which was done in python and it taught objects and classes and I've always wondered its not commonly covered in python tutorials.
Python is far more than a "scripting language", some of the biggest websites in the world are build from Python. I agree on your first point though.
I guess if you want more advance courses, you'd have to pay for it or research it yourself and basically teach yourself for free, assuming you got the time for it……whilst working on a project that actually uses these advance techniques……
