  • How often do people change these blades? How do you know it's time to change?

    • Tough to answer. Really going to depend on how frequently you shave and how course your facial hair is.

    • Depends what area you are shaving..

When it starts pulling on your whiskers instead of smoothly cutting them, even after you've had a hot shower and your pores will be as open as they'll ever get, it's time to change.

There's no hard and fast rule as different faces have different amounts and thickness of hair.

    • I've read that it helps to get longer use is to dry the blades after use on dunny paper or hand towel - don't put your razer away when wet.

  • Dispatches in 1-3 months..lol..

Depends on your beard,to state the obvious.By that I mean that some enjoy light beard growth while others almost need another shave by the time they get home from work….you get my drift?
I get many weeks out of a Mach 3 blade as I'm in the former category, while a mate has to renew his blade in half the time as he falls into the latter.Basically when the blade isn't cutting smoothly it's time to renew.A good tip is to shave after you've had a hot shower and you've washed your face with soap and water. This softens the beard and makes the job easier and quicker.

But the hot shower fogs the mirror..

Yep, always a hot shower and THEN shave. Try to wash your face with water as hot as you can stand without too much discomfort. Barbers used to put hot towels on faces prior to shaving you for a reason. I wash my face thoroughly in the shower with high lather soap prior to a shave, but if you aren't showering definitely a good scrub over the basin with a lot of soap (I use Dove soap… a little moisturising cream in it so it won't dry your face out). Washing away the oils and dirt within the pores cleans the hair. Clean hair is far easier to cut than greasy oily hair.

They will be sent within a few weeks, they ran out of stock. This is the usual message from Amazon until they have an ETA for stock.

You might want to learn about the negative voting policy as well your negative vote will be removed and you'll get a strike against your account.

      • I had that with the Quilton toilet paper, said 1-3 months. Came within 2 weeks of ordering.

I have a silicon pad for re-sharp these kind of razors even they are titled ‘unable to reshaped”, like YouTube shows someone resharped them by a piece of canvas.
