Backup Image of SSD on Laptop

Hi Guys,
How can I do an image as a backup for my laptop SSD? I use to always use window 7 image maker for my HDD but it does not seem to want to go back on if I get a virus or similar on to the SSD. I think something in the bios is not allowing it to re-image.

When I had only HDD I would back up an image every week, and if something bad happened I was back up in a matter of hours.

    I personally just use the default windows one, but Macrium Reflect and EASUS ToDo backup are also some pretty decent solutions which are free to use.

    Macrium Reflect or Acronis True Image will do the job.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

    Scrimshaw, I also use the default windows image maker and it works well doing the backup. The problem occures when I go to put that image back to the SSID it says something like incompatible or something like that. I think it has something to do with the bIOS settings??? That is my main problem putting the image back on 6o the drive.

      HDD partitions bigger than the SSD's capacity?

        I always check there is enough capacity to restore. The restore always worked just fine before I had a pc with the SSID. I will do a backup image and try and restore it so that I get the error message I can then let you guys know what it says. So please bear with me for a few days.
