Blackview A20 - Best Sub $100 Phone?

Looking 'upgrade' my leagoo m8 which developed phantom touch issues after being dropped. I'm a very low end user and don't expect much from a phone, so budget is normally $80-$120. After doing some research I came across the Blackview A20 which has a 5.5" screen and 3000mah battery.

Youtube reviews seem to rate it highly for its low price point… Only 1GB ram and 8GB rom but the light OS keeps it snappy enough from what I'm seeing and at default install you still have over 5GB rom to play with… See review Blackview A20 https://youtu.be/mIUjxYH-XkY

At $80 on eBay what am I missing? My usage is simply phone/text (amaysim) check emails, watch a youtube vid and connect it to my Motorbike for GPS function… that's it, can I do better on my low budget?

Those phones at aus post / coles / woolies that are half price every couple of weeks + an unlock code would be in your budget

    • Yeah my main requirements are 5.5" and decent battery will keep an eye out.

I'd avoid the blackview a20 with 1 gb as 1gb is going to be laggy. If you are keen then it is available here for AU$77 delivered.

I had a blackview phone a few years ago. it was ok. upgraded to the lenovo K5 note as the blackview was getting really laggy with 1gb.

another option is the standard inexpensive china droid from M-Horse. never tried these. the large battery. I previously read some reasonable things about this phone. specs read well.

    AU$102 delivered will get you the M-Horse Pure 1 5.7" 2gb Ram ,16gb
