    wtf

Edit: Ozbargainerz who buy this, can I interest you in $400 luxury Corona beers?

    • A shave a day and I expect this to last three years

A beer a day, how many days will $400 worth of luxury corona beers last?

      • It's 1 luxury bottle of beer my rich friend .. how long the effect stays depends on you or your BAC result.

      • +1

Three years? I've had mine for almost a decade.

In the last year or two there's a few Chinese brands with excellent reviews eg yaqi - tons of reviews on various forums like badger and blade and can be had for a fair bit cheaper:

    https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/yaqi-24mm-silve…

Also if you bowl lather, can go for a good synthetic which perform very well nowadays and are extremely soft. Though they do behave differently to traditional badger brushes and there's a bit of a learning curve

    • +2

Agreed! I bought a quality synthetic recently (ethical reasons), and it performs beautifully.

    • I bought a YAQI Deep Space 26mm Tuxedo Knot Shaving Brush from AliExpress and it's superb!

I just found there is now yaqishaving.com.au, their prices look good for local stock but I've never seen them before.

This is a geat price for a beautiful brush.

$100 may sound a lot for a brush (or much less for this one), but when combined with a nice razor and bulk buy DE blades, it’s much cheaper than buying dosposable razors or cartridges.

Shaver shop are also selling a couple of another variants (still Silver Tip Badger Hair) on their eBay store for $49.95 and $99.95. Main difference between the two (apart from appearance) is the cheaper is made in China and the more expensive is made in Germany.

Both are 50% off the regular price, and you can further reduce with the eBay 20% off code P2019, even less if you pay using discounted eBay gift cards you have purchased, and lastly free shipping with eBay plus.

See the side by side comparison on the Wahl website here.
