Howdy all, A friend is after a smaller but still decently powered Android phone. Everything seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I couldn't think of any 'mid sized' phones. He's coming off an mi5 for reference. Any suggestions?

Every government collects data which they use to control their citizens.
The PRC just does a better job than other countries.
Pixel 2 (non XL variant) is a great phone that isn't big, still has great specs and can now be had for a good price.
I have a galaxy A5 which is also pretty decent and cheap. The new A variants are out now and still a decent size and a bit more powerful.
If he has money to burn, a Pixel 3 (again, not the XL).

Xperia Compact Range (Z3 & Z5 13cm)(XZ2 14cm) or the older Mini Pro (9cm)
I used to have the Samsung Galaxy S8+ which was huge. I got rid of that phone and and use the S9 which is smaller. Highly recommended.
