  • Thanks OP. Any idea on eligible swimming centre locations? Doesn’t look like you can view them until you revive the code

“* One claim per pack purchased. Capped at one free lesson per venue, per child.”

    • +4

Almost a deal breaker as these lessons are effectively free trials.

      • +3

Do they usually offer free trials?

        • Just ask, probably

      • +1

        What do you expect?

  • We already buy these so free swimming lesson is a bonus. And an excuse for me and Wifey to get free entry to the pools

    • +4

      Also free water, bring buckets.

    • You buy swim nappies? Have you done the calculations on getting a reusable swim nappy? Something like this

Or - you can get shorts with built in nappy. Has served us well. No number 2 accidents at the pool in 18 months (2 different sizes) - so might change my mind if that was a frequent occurrence, but so far, we're miles ahead over buying disposables. (Current deal excepted!)

      • +2

Disposable swim nappies can go in the wash and be reused heaps of times. They don't disintegrate like regular nappies. 1 pack lasted us until they were outgrown.

well we only needed one pack so far.

But the lessons cost us $17 each so might as well buy a pack and put the voucher towards the lesson.

  • Checking out the map, looks like perks for kids on the other side of the Great Dividing Range though.

I think swimming lesson should be subsidised by governments. Can squeeze the funds out of parliamentary travel allowances

    • It might vary from state to state but I thought schools had swimming each year. I also note that vacswim, I believe government run in SA, costs peanuts.

    • +1

hey, they need to fly solo on a defence jet from canberra to perth and then back a day or so later
      its important work :/

      • Damn Liberal party. Born to rule yet they kill the original NBN and slash services

    • They do have one in NSW at the moment. But it's for kids aged between 4.5 and 18 years

      • Once again, jack all providers for non-metro kiddos.

    +1 for the marketing department

  • +3

Ah seems like a lot of steps… nothing for ozb

  • +2

    Swim nappies… Teabags for turds.
