    Hi

There was an error with the pricing online and we could not supply at the price that was showing incorrectly.
All orders have now been refunded (if paid via Paypal).

We have created a 10% off coupon , coupon SSD10, will give a 10% off solid state drives on our site if anyone wishes to place an order for an SSD.
This will expire on midnight 15th January.

    Kind Regards
    Luke

I would say it was meant to be $119

by posting on ozbargain it wouldve destroyed any chance of being honored, literally 0%, you might be able to get away if it was just 1 or 2 order

      • +1

yeah I'm not gonna bother trying. waste of time

  • +1

    Yeah I think it's a pricing error

PS: just kidding, got 1 thanks OP :)

  • worth a try?

  • Grabbed 2, thanks op

    I doubt they'll honour but I got 1 too.

  • Does any seller ever honour these silly errors?

    • +2

Amazon or at least they offer gift cards.

Also grab one, probably won't honour when they go on business tomorrow and they check their orders.

    • Some do but more often than not they do not.

The amount that would get ordered on a price error this big would easily end up costing in the 10's of thousands for a business if they were to honour it

      • Better make that 100's of thousands at the rate of clicks we are seeing atm….

      Cathay Pacific too!

  • Worth a try. Thanks OP

This is a pricing error, no doubt about it.

    I get the following error

Error: Australia Post: Too Heavy (430kg)Too Long (276cm)The Cubic Measurement cannot exceed 0.25 cubic meters (1.719185408cm3)

      You are born error :)

    • Why'd you need a hard drive? Dont they come with the computer?

  • +51

Why even bother posting this? It’s a price error, leave this poor business alone and let’s look for actual bargains.

    • I'm inclined to agree, but worst case scenario is they just send an email saying sorry. Best case they actually do honour it (unlikely).

Never heard of Storm Computers, probably just a small store. If so, unlike big store like Harvey Norman or Good Guys, they probably won't honour this pricing error and won't give any compensation other than just an apology email.

P.S. Agree with Snowy above. I won't bother with this, better leave these small businesses alone. Don't cause stress and despair to some regular families.

  • My invoice page now shows "Backordered"

    • Yeah on backorder now when I ordered.

The ‘scewing’ is mutual. I feel no sympathy for deals like this. Business are protected enough to not have to honour it. And if a business fails it’s simpy their own fault. Overseas sellers here ‘for a quick buck’ as opposed to what, exactly? Are you new to capitalism? Just the way of the world.

    • +2

7 people say you are not alwaysright

    • All Australian retailers are suffering due to overseas sellers who pay little or no tax and only here for the quick buck.

They pay tax now. Or rather you do, and they collect it for the gummint.

    • Yawns. At least 19 have no clue.

Most if not all Harvey Norman stores are owned by franchisees so does that make them poor little businesses that should be left alone as Snowy P has suggested in a previous post?
