Clean user interface, but what's unique about your website compared to all the other group buy deal aggregator sites?

An honest feedback, you probably would want to get rid of the 'sign in to see the deals' concept. That is very annoying and I'm sure you'll lose returning visitors. Many other deal aggregator sites do not require you to sign up to see the deals, so they probably have the advantage here.

    • Thanks for the feedback, I will talk to my developer re. removing the need to subscribe, dont know if it's difficult though…

  • I don't like it. Only three Perth deals. One of which is a photo book and you guys have classified it as a "Spa" item. I am going to unsubscribe immediately. I found it intrusive that you required a password to sign up.

    • Thanks voteoften, re. the Perth deals, there isnt many site (that we know of) which has more perth deals, please let me know if there are sites with more Perth deals.
We would try to improve on the categorising of deals.

It's good that you are on here trying to learn the needs and wants of potential customers but shouldn't you have done your market research first?

  • Shouldn't you be registered as a Rep?

    • +1

this is not a deal/hasn't posted a deal yet, so can't tick the rep box(i think)

    • +1

I didnt have to option to…I think you can only do so when posting a deal

  • +2

This is annoying as you have to sign up to their site, then when you look at deals ,you have to sign up again to another 3rd party, stardeals wanted my info too, waste of time

This is nothing compared to allthedeals, dealsguide and some others…
I would do a lot of researches before building a new aggregator site..
One of the new sites that I like a lot is dealzoo.com.au take a look and see why it's great..

Would not bother using this site (which has a sign in) as opposed to others who do not. Am tired of sites requiring you to give them your email, so they can spam you or sell it on.

Dump the sign in and give people the option of giving you their email address or signing up as a "member"

    • I was really excited when you wrote about grouped, but I went there and they have less than half the deals for perth. No OurDeal deals at all. What a waste.

      • well, glad to tell you we have OurDeal deals for Perth too :)

      • Thanks Voteoften for the feedback - OurDeal have been added to our Perth listings. We have some very exciting new features coming to Grouped that will enable us to be more than just an aggregating site. Stay tuned for more details.

        Kind Regards,

Spending too much time surfing the web for great deals?!

Yep, and making as go through the annoying sign-up process doesnt make it any quicker/efficient.

    • yeah I know, as I posted earlier, I will talk to my developer re. removing the sign-up process

  • I just found it ironic. On the page it says

    Sydney Deals You Missed

Then I feel I have missed all the deals listed on the site, because they flash across that little box underneath way too quickly.

    I guess it's a deal aggregating site that I won't really miss.

    • I dont know if we can "slow down" that little box, but they are actually deals that had finished already…

      • +2

Okay I see. So there is no way for me to see the current offers except to (1) subscribe to the mailing list, or (2) use the badly formatted current offer listing with truncated title, duplicated entries, no thumbnails, and sometimes dead links?

  • I don't get why you'd want to see old deals.

    • Dealpinch goes to "CRazy domains" No help there.

grouped does not include side deals for Perth or deal2day. Worthless. A waste of time if I still have to go to the sites themselves to see side deals.

allthedeals are the best of the three but could be a lot better. I have seen stardeals on Perth that are local deals for the eatsern states. I don;t find out they are local deals until I have wasted my time clicking through.

      • VoteOften - Thanks wasn't aware of any problems with StarDeals, but will have a look into it. We're also working on a pile of new features that will hopefully make AllTheDeals a "lot better" inc categorising deals, more search and personalisation options, new email alerts, new iPhone app, new Android app .. Please let us know what else we can do to make it better.

      • dealpinch dead

DealPinch.com — without the .au. Looks like some domain squatter registered the .au domain, or they are just too lazy to set up a redirect.

    • BlackCavier … are you affiliated with Grouped? I notice that most of your comments relate to how great they are :-)

      • Haha, they should be paying for my pump ups, but no unfortunately. Got a soft spot for allthedeals too, especially if I need to check out catalogues!!

  • Allthedeals is the best. It could be better. One thing that I have not seen any aggregators do is actually look at the deals and perhaps put them in other cities as well.

I sa that Cudo had a Melbourne deal for The Natural Source for $49 for $150 of stuff from their website. Free shipping as well. This deal was available to anyone in OZ, The Natural Source didn't care. I bought one and I live in Perth. A few days later, all sorts of offerings were being made by The Natural Source. I believe they were on several group buying sites. All of these deals were for set packags of products which I wouldn't buy 97% of the time as there will undoubtedly be crap in there I do not want. This 66% off deal for anything on the website was great, especially since it included free postage. If aggregators could list these sorts of deals on other city pages, it would really be a service for the end user.

There are sometimes deals that are online but only include delivery in a certain state. That's why someone would need to actually look at the deal and dcided whether it was "nationwide" even if it doesn't say nationwide.

I hate these crappy jewelry deals. Please get rid of them.
