Have a 4k monitor at the moment with one hdmi input on it. Looking for a hdmi switch that can support the switch, ps4 and 4k for the xbox one, Any suggestions?

Seeing as you have a 4k TV I would imagine it would have upwards of 4+ HDMI inputs and the TV itself would act as the switch?

The monitor only has one HDMI so they’re feeding multiple devices to one plug.

Maybe now is the time to buy an amplifier and use that as the switch and better sound?

My bad, I missed that it was a Monitor and not a TV. Neg me freely

        Wish granted

This one will do 4k 60FPS + HDCP 2.2 compliant

I have a generic one from eBay which is pretty lousy and will only do 4k 30fps, but that might be OK if you don't mind 30fps framerate.

    Any suggestions?

Keep one console and sell the others. ;)

  • $69 for this 4K switch would do the trick

    • That's HDMI 1.4 so no 4K60 support and I believe no HDR

  • I have a simplecom one on my TV for psvr (v1 without HDR passthrough) which is auto-select and powered by a USB on the TV.

    Got it through catch

    • Can you link to the one on catch?

        • Is your TV 4K with HDR? No flicker or bandwidth issues combined with Dolby/DTS? Thanks

@plmko: 4K HDR is fine, I don’t use the tv for any audio so can’t comment sorry!

  • I'm using a LenKeng LKV501-V2.0.

This one is a manual input switch so you need to use the included remote (or the buttons on the actual unit). There are auto switches out there that change the input depending on whether it detects signal coming from the HDMI cable, but I couldn't find one for a reasonable price.
