    I just got mine today and basically playing around with it now. This is my first pc in probably over 15 years and cant be more happy(maybe more excited) with it so far. Though im going to have to work out how to install my 500gb 860 evo ssd i purchased separately.

    Ordered: Intel i5 8400 RTX 2080 8gb, 120gb ssd, 8gb ddr4
    Cost: $1649 (Paid 1319 or something during 20% off).
    Ordered: 19/12
    Delivered: 16/01

    Now bare with me as im really rusty with all of this.
    CPU: Intel Core i5-8500
    MB: Asus PRIME H310M-K
    GPU: Asus Turbo GeForce RTX 2080 8GB
    RAM: TEAMGROUP-UD4-2400 8GB
    SSD: Allied 120GB
    PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 750W

    UserBenchmarks: Game 116%, Desk 79%, Work 62%

    Did I do good, I have no idea but happy with it so guess thats a win :)

    • Did they upgrade your PSU for free D:

      Mine arrived today too but I'm away right now

      • I guess I got lucky, I didn’t choose any extra uogrades

        • I hope mine has it too, the other one is absolutely garbage.

          Turbo rtx2080 or Galax one? Thoughts?

            @sushimaster: Turbo's blower, galax is a dual fan model?

            Think all of the 2080 builds have 750w PSUs?

              @N1NJ4W4RR10R: regardless if they do you would probably want to replace it, low efficiency units can really add up in power bill costs.

              the litepower 750w has an efficiency at 70% nominal line, max load. While its peak efficiency would be somewhere around 50% load the fact its not 80+ white even means I doubt its much better than 80%. Compare this to a gold unit that will hold 92% efficiency at 50% load.

              some theorycrafting numbers for a 24/7 on computer.
              Computer idle/lower power state 20 hours - 80W = 1.6kWh
              Computer gaming state 4 hours - 375W = 1.5kWh

              Day usage = 3.1kwH
              Year usage = 1131.5kWh

              at 80% efficiency = 1414.375kWh
              at 92% efficiency = 1229.9kWh
              Difference = 184.475kWh

              Cost difference at 30c / kWh = $55.34 / yr.

                @neferseki: Gold is 90% @ 50% load.
                Platinum is 92% @ 50% load.
                Titanium is 94% @ 50% load.

                • @xuqi: That's interesting, thanks. Personally, I wanted something cheapish and easy to get back into pc gaming after a long time away. Eventually, I would love to change the power supply and add more ram but I also just bought a monitor so will need to wait for now.

                  @xuqi: nope

                  This is the efficiency curve of an RM750x an 80+ gold PSU. In Australia we use 230V so look at the black line.

  • Has anyone done a break down in price compared to DIY by chance?

    I haven't had a PC in ages but was looking at building a system for Davinci Resolve, but if these are similar in price, it would be a great time saver.

    • I've seen breakdowns in past threads and they're usually on par or cheaper. Only caveat is you don't really know what brands you're going to get until you've got it, which is often where the cheap price comes from.

    Just picked up mine, its been a long wait lol

    Ordered: AMD ryzen 5 2600 + 2080
    Ordered: 19/12
    Delivered: 16/01

    CPU: ryzen 5 2600
    MB: Asus PRIME a350-h
    GPU: Asus Turbo GeForce RTX 2080 8GB
    RAM: TEAMGROUP-UD4-2400 8GB
    SSD: Allied 120GB
    PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 750W

    Kinda low key wish they sent me the msi 2080 instead though, this turbo thing is loud af.

    when i got my system, the motherboard wasn't seated properly, had to take it out and install the stand off in the correct spot. No pwm fans, they are all those weird molex once.

    their cable management isnt bad at all but i did found that my 4pin cpu connector was plugged in with an 8 pin instead…

    there are also stuff like accessories are missing for the motherboard so i couldn't install my m.2 ssd

  • This is what I got for 2k 1920 PC. Way beyond my expectation.

    • shit, did u get a corsair cooler and an msi 2080 aswell..
      what case btw

      • I remember the description includes the Corsair AIO cooler. The case I got is TT view 37. I though I would receive the same one as videos on YT. Lucky me XD.

        • wtf, thats lucky as, my case had rust so i might mail them for like a new case or someshit
