Hi I am planning buy Iomega 2T form COTD. Seems to be a good deal. Appreciate your comments regarding this

      Thanks I did a little research also and found not that much good. Today I ordered
      Seagate 2TB GoFlex Home Network Storage System from office works for $229. I went to the store and they didn't have it there and they made a customer order. If I order online, even to pick up at store I have to pay extra $4.95. Now only $229.00

    I have the previous model called the Home Media Network Hard Drive (the one from the review posted above). Got it over a year ago for $199 for 1TB version. Its OK and is still working but had major issues working with DHCP assigned IP address. I basically had to assign a fixed IP address for it work with my Mac, which was a real PITA. Don't think I'd buy an Iomega again after my experience.
