Underpinning House in WA..recommendation?

Hi all, I got a house built with slight elevation. However, the right-hand side of the house seems to be "sinking" more. Essentially. the concrete pavings are sinking in, forming holes here and there. Have a feeling it's the sand runoff from winter rain, due to no soak wells. I read an ad somewhere about the possibility of injecting some kind of chemical grout under the slab to stabilise it.

Any such company in WA could do that? Any idea roughly how much it will cost? TIA

Who built your house? How old it is? Shouldn't you just ask the builders who built your house?

    • It's actually an old house of mine, I don't actually live in there. Bought established.

    Speak to these guys
They’ll hook you up with a contact in WA
    No BS and honest advice
I’ve had friends use these guys before and the work was good
Insurance could also cover this too which I’d assume you should have owning a house etc

Cost is about 20-50k I’d say depending on the damage already

    • The heck? 20-30k?! I bet the insurance company would deny here and that.

        Depends on the work mate
It’s not a simple job, by the time you factor in structural engineer time to look at the job, work out the best resolution and actually performing the work you’re up in the thousands

        Or

Pay for a cheap crappy job and have to redo it again when it fails and that company winds up / goes bust therefore rendering any warranty void

It is based on a situation to situation quote

Those prices were actually covered by insurance, provided you have the “right” type of insurance, I’m sure you didn’t read the article I linked clearly as it outlines it was covered by their insurance company
