Thanks OP but truthfully i wont pre-order on principal alone. It has made the developers lazy knowing they can cash in on half baked, half done games and then "hopefully" fix it up after the fact.
You should really edit "developers" to "publishers". The devs just want to do their job and make a great game, it's the money people that want to milk customers.

Well it is a EA game but also it is also unfortunately becoming the norm/the norm now really.
VIP Demo (for those who preordered) is this weekend, so friend codes should be floating about.
Otherwise the public Open Demo is on the 1st Feb.

Seriously why do we even preorder anymore? Just get it on release and it will be even cheaper. There will be millions of this game made. It won't be some limited release or rare in the future. Wait for Amazon or bigw to beat this.

In all fairness to the devs, the team was gutted to send more people to make this instead. A skeleton crew was left. We're kinda lucky it didn't burst into flames when we pressed "campaign".
So if Anthem bombs then the death of the Mass Effect series will have been for nothing.
Oh I agree, soon as this was announced I knew resources had been put into this and mass effect had been abandoned mid development.
And it sucks because Mass effect was one of my favourite seriesI don't care what anyone says, ME3 is still one of the greatest games of all time and the entire thing was a fitting send-off to a magnificent experience.
@WillRay92: Apart from the initial ending, that was terrible. The 3 choices was garbage. They fixed it a little with the extended cut
@unleashthepain: Nope, I don't agree with that at all.
IMO, the entire game (from start to finish) is the "ending" to the series. I don't draw an arbitrary line at one point and say "okay NOW it's the ending". Sure the extended cut added some good things, but it's not like it was fundamentally bad before that. I know I'll get hate for that, but I couldn't care less if I tried. The 3rd act of the series was great.
Pre-ordered and downloaded the VIP Demo beginning this weekend! :D
Games is looking good, but I will wait to buy till 1 month after release, mostly because its from EA.
