Description:
First Gin From Suntory - Roku Gin is a journey through the four seasons with six unique Japanese botanicals.
Roku is Japanese for "Six" which refers to the six Japanese botanicals used. Sakura Flower, Sakura Leaf, Yuzu Peel, Sencha Tea (Green Tea), Gyokuro Tea (Refined Green Tea) And Sansho Pepper are utilized along with eight other traditional gin botanicals.
Each harvested at their peak of season to extract the best flavour to fully embody The Blessings of Nature.
Smooth and oily, the gin has a rich character as it coats the tongue. There’s a fleeting glimpse of cherry blossom and traditional notes before the tea and tannic notes take over.

    • I'd disagree with this, I think Roku works very well as a gin and tonic.
But I generally like stronger drinks, so I don't know. Maybe they want something different from their G and Ts

  • review from myself,
interesting take on a gin from a whisky maker
good for sipping as well as pairing with other flavours

  • usually $55 at BWS as well, at least the price has been that way for last month or so.

    • Can confirm, $55 @ BWS QLD. Might vary in other states (eg. $56 in NT).

    • Thanks for update. that flybuys offer makes liquorland a better option

  • Wasn't a fan TBH. Tasted like petrol when mixed with tonic.

    I'll stick with Hendricks.

  • One of my favorites for straight sipping, prefer The Botantist in G&Ts and other mixed drinks.

  • Dan Murphy's now 54.95. I was about to ask for price match but went in the store and listed for 54.95
