WTB Sandisk MicroSD 8GB

Hey guys, I want to buy 10 MicroSD 8GB for gifts used for this caddy
(http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-microSD-FCR-MRR-SDC-2GB/dp/B0…). 10 caddys but no card!

The website on StaticIce show this place is the cheapest. Is this site trustworthy?
http://www.apus.com.au/products_search.php?key=microsd
8GB Class 4 for $9.95

Any other suggestion or recommendations are most welcome!

Thanks in advance~

find the cheapest online store then go to Officeworks to pricematch

    • Sorry to sound like a noob, but what is considered as an online store?
      Is shoppingsquare an online store?

Struggling to understand why you would care what price you pay for the cards, when you paid $24 each for that card reader (what is a caddy anyway?).

    • Oh sorry, that bad wording from me!
What I meant was the MicroSD Card reader. I bought 10 of them similar but no brands and cost 90% less. Got it for $2.4ea from TinyDeal.

Guess what I really need now is just a cheap MicroSD card to go with it so can give it away as presents =)

If it was me, I'd get Class 4 Kingstons from MSY in Auburn (Sydney).

SHOPPING SQUARE have a deal this weekend - $1 shipping.

    8GB Class 2 or 4 Sandisk $9.95 <<<<< THIS ONE ***
    8Gb Class 4 Kingston $14.30

I realise that there will be cheaper out there… but that is a start.

*** That Sandisk is the one you originally were looking at. So, that will work out pretty good! The picture shows Class 2 but the text says Clss 4

    • Thank you thank you!

I followed your link and saw it too… that puzzled me! Why is it showing class 2 and say it's class 4?
      So which one is it?

I think that they are Class 4, but used to be Class 2.

I'd heard that the old Sandisk Class 2 performed better than the rated speciifcations so they upgraded it. But I don't own any Sandisks myself to verify that.

Here is a 4 page thread about it on Whirlpool forums…

        http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1582172

From the table at the top, it seems that the older Sandisk Class 2 cards were getting Write speeds of over 3.5 MB/sec (almost class 4)

        • You are a legend llama :)
Thanks for your link and this knowledge, I will put an order as soon as I yonk my card from gf xD

          Cheers again!
