As you may have seen in forums today, Optus have a $120 - 365 day prepaid deal going. I'm already with optus so grabbed a $2 Telstra starter to port over and then get back onto above Optus deal. (Telstra sim not yet activated)
I see on Telstra site they are doing $30 starter sim for only $8 ordered online.
Can I purchase that $8 starter - but - activate the $2 sim and the Telstra system will see that as my $30 activation? I don't wanna wait days for new sim to arrive.
Long story short: are Starter kit values tied into their serial numbers?
