  • Pretty unexciting when you can get it at $590 from JB etc for Aus stock :/

I wanted this camera since it’s release.

I purchased it about 2 months ago and took a photo of the moon then have since left it in cupboard.

    • Pull it out again and take a photo of Saturn's rings - if that doesn't inspire you to start using it you can always re-sell it for close to what you bought it for.

    • Yeah, that much reach is a cool feature, but beyond that there are better/smaller/more usable cameras out there.

  • I purchased this camera early 2018 from Teds for $499. Amazing camera, great for wild life photography (don't expect much of Bokeh effect if the subject is very far)
The RRP is so much inflated at tobydealsau, I think it was the price when this camera was released in 2015.
I would not pay $579 for grey import. With P1000 released early Sep 2018, the price will come down quite drastically on P900. I would wait.

This is not a deal, for an extra $10 you can get Australian stock with warranty covered by Nikon Australia.

  • Here is for $593

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Nikon-COOLPIX-VNA750AC-Australian-…

and after 6% cash back (SB / CR) you get for $557.42… seems nice now with Aussie Warranty.
