Jeez another completely normal dad simulator. I really don't understand the fuss over this game why would you ever want to just simulate being a dad when you could be shooting people in the face, smashing bricks with your fist or rolling up a katamari.
Besides that dad must be eating too many carrots or something his skin is all orange, the devs need to put a little more work into it if they are shipping the main character with orange skin.

Have you tried Detroit yet? You get to do menial chores like washing the dishes so you can experience the life of a slave robot, it's so much fun.

This is one of the best couch co-op games there is, spawning a whole genre of games where simple tasks like moving are not so simple.

have seen people play this and it looks like a riot - for $1.42 i'll bite. worst come to worst it just adds another $1.42 to the pile of shame.

  • I've been meaning to try it, but TBH there's better stuff on PC. If it was this price on Switch I'd buy it because then I'd probably get around to playing it.

  • I played this game at a friend's years ago and it was so much fun. One for the whole family.
Just bought it for myself. Thanks!

  • Definitely a great game. The plot is cute, it's long enough to be fun but not so long that the novelty of the gameplay mechanic wears on you, and it's pretty humourous.

Is Octodad struggles anything like Octomums?

      I wonder 🤔

      • Both like pr0n.

  • I was going to buy in on the Nitnendo eShop for Wiiu.
Watched a few mins gampley on Youtube, looked crap and mundane - please prove me wrong?

    • I thought it was quite clever and imaginative. It's a pretty short game with some chuckles with the absurd story and tasks.

Played this with my kids. They could see the similarity between myself and Octodad. Gave me an excuse to move like a cephalopod IRL.

10 out of 10. Would flail again.

    • Hmm, unless you are a cephalopod and just trying to condition them and everybody else that this is normal, Squidad!

  • Thanks OP, makes for a pretty fun and goofy co-op experience.
