Samsung Galaxy Watch with Optus Number Share

Optus has activated number share for Samsung Galaxy Watch. Even though they have not made it official yet, I can confirm that it is working.

You need to make sure you have updated your watch software to the latest version.

There is no support from customer service as yet as even they have no idea it has been activated.

Optus is offering 12 month number share free and then $5/month.

      It will show you the plan and pricing when you subscribe. You can do this on the Galaxy Wearable app.

        Mobile service can't be setup from this phone. For more information, contact your service provider.

        • Did you update your watch software to latest version? I did read something about it working on Samsung phones only for setup. Need to find someone with a samsung phone, once activated you can then revert to your phone.

          • @Platinumtelecom: Yeah I've got an S9 and watch is updated. Contacted them over chat and they said there was an issue with my Optus account, so dealt with that. Restarted etc and still didn't allow me to add Mobile Network. So he went off and asked supervisor and apparently it's still in a testing stage so only limited users can access it. Apparently very soon for the full release so I'll just wait.

  • Looks like it's back online now, just activated it.
