Vodafone TV Chromecast Colour Shift

I was just wondering if anyone is also experiencing problems with the colours shifting sporadically for short bursts when casting to Vtv box. It shifts back to normal after 10-15 seconds, but then will do it again later.

The first picture is normal, the second one is when the colours shift, this is cast a tab in chrome from a laptop, the laptop is a new asus ux430u. I tried searching to see if it is a common issue that is fixable or is just me. The only thing I found was someone saying the same thing with their Xiaomi Mi Box and there wasn't a solution for the problem.

So my question is has anyone else had this problem and what did they do about it, or should I just contact Vodafone with the problem and see what they say?

    What version of MS Paint are you using? The detail in your linked pictures is amazing.

    No issue on my end, been casting from the Foxtel Go app to the Vodafone TV just fine the last few days. Have you tried casting from a different device?

      Do you ever cast Chrome tabs?

      I don't think it's the cable because when I play youtube videos through the app it is fine the whole time..

    Happens to me occasionally. I just restart the box.

    Mi box and shield have done me a lot better than the Vodafone box.

    Update: This only happens on casting a chrome tab in chromecast and not when you cast the whole desktop, so it is just a glitch with casting a tab, hopefully will be fixed in an firmware update which will likely never happen!

    I have occasionally noticed something like this when casting Kayo Sports to my Vodafone TV.

    Found the solution (at least this is what worked for me)
    In my laptop, 'Scale and layout', in Display settings, was set to 125%
    Setting it to 100% solved the issue.

    the Chromecast option isn't popping up for my Vodafone TV. Anybody else having the problem or know how to resolve? thanks

      I gave mine a reboot, both unit and the device, which made it reappear
