Huawei Mate 20 Vs Huawei P20 Pro

Hi OzBarginers,

I am currently in the market for a new phone with my eyes currently set on the two Huawei flagship phones. The best deal for Mate 20 is currently selling for $997 and the p20 pro is currently selling for $750. Just wondering what is the better deal, is the mate 20 worth the $250 extra?

      On a side note, where do you buy you tin foil hats? I need a new one. Preferably Australian or USA made one. I don’t trust the Chinese made tin foil hats…

    p20 pro a couple weeks ago from amazon deal
    no complaints apart from a couple of Huawei specific apps im yet to uninstall via adb

    Tossed up between these two phones but couldn't see the extra value in the Mate and liked the look of the Pro a little better. Especially with the $750 deals. Happy with my Pro and came down to $690 with cashback.

    P20 pro, Waterproof and AMOLED screen was more appealing to me than the slightly larger LCD screen and better processor on the mate 20.
