Bunnings Ozito Power X Change 18VX2 Cordless Lawn Mower

After doing some confusing research, I'm planning on getting a Bunnings Ozito Power X Change 18V X 2 Cordless Lawn Mower. It's selling at $399 and I can't seem to find it at a lesser price recently. Has this ever come down in price at any time or is there a way of getting it for less?

  • Go ask aldi to bring out a cordless mower and bunnos will price match.

    Your only hope.

  • You can get it in a kit with a whipper snipper for $299, that's $100 less than the lawnmower kit alone.

The downside is that the $299 combo pack has 2 x 2.0Ah batteries instead of 2 x 4.0Ah.

Buy some bigger batteries later on sale?

  • I am also hoping the ozito lawn mower will drop price and becomes more affordable. Currently i have a petrol driven lawn mower which is pretty noisy. Hoping to get one that doesnt wake the neighbours.

    • +1
      • Well, yes, but how to sneak in next door and put PPE on their neighbours without waking them up?

        • Just follow the council guidelines.

          Power tools

If you are using power tools such as saws and drills, use them at times and places that will minimise annoyance to your neighbours. The best places are inside enclosed garages, in your house or behind a barrier and out of direct sight to neighbours’ windows and doors.

Hand-operated equipment can be used for up to two hours (accumulative) on any one day between the hours of:

          7am–7pm, Monday to Saturday
          9am–7pm, Sundays or public holidays.

  • I got it in a kit with a whipper snipper and blower for $349 but with the 2x2ah batteries. Works well enough for our medium sized yard.

Does anyone own this mower i had a masters 909 brand had it for 5 yrs and used it on a large verge where it buggered the wheel it's twisted to the side still worked at the time just when you push it wants to pull to the side. I was planning on using it today but could not get it started. So have decided to get a new one.
I miss masters as they had a good range for all budgets. Bunnings i find dont have as much of the cheaper ones just a few. I was thinking of a victa like this:

Which is more than i wanted to pay but i hear a lot of people are into cordless ones and was curious ozito compared.
I have an edger i purchased second hand guy showed me it working decided to use it after a few months it was not doing its job,was going to have someone look at it but not sure if worth it.
The otizo has a trimmer which i dont have as mine was some model ordered from a site that after time part by part started to fail etc and just got rid.

I need to get one soon either the victa and say a cheap homelite trimmer or the ozito kit.

  • Buy the mower with out battery's then get the blower kit with battery's its works out $1 cheaper and you get a blower.

Each amp hour give you 10 mins of run time, so in this case you would get 30 mins.

I have this mower and would recommend that you get a blade adapter on Gumtree as the blade sits to high in the deck, and the deck scrubs out before the blade gets there. But it's a great mower over all.

    Thanks

  • I already have a blower new in box from masters store.
