  Make sure you clean inside avanti products of machine oil. Disgusting. Never buy anything from them again.

    All manufacured products will have this or that unwanted stuff through out the process. They don't normally wash them because new ones are not supposed to be washed until you get home. It is your responsibility to clean or wash properly before use.
    If you're not going to buy a brand because of this oil thing, don't buy anything made by machines, because machines need lube.
    By he way, these aluminium products don't wash well out of dish washer any way.

  I bought one from Joondalup WA this afternoon. Heaps in stock but hard to find. They are on the lowest shelf in the 1st kitchen aisle on the RHS right at the end. No oil inside.
