How legal and legit is this job posting

http://ihbs.webs.com/

Yes looks dodgy to me and makes fake claims as well. Found this via studentbees.com.au

  • wow!!!

    That's real

    I mean look at these—> IMAGE1, IMAGE2, IMAGE3
they would have to hire a person of such skill to draw those(hmmm, wonder what program they are using?)

    /sarcasm/ aside

    It is an (illegal) scam

BUT if you do carefully do what the instructions say, you will easily get a 7-figure income in a year

  • Haha this could an example of how not to make a site
few links don't work or are recursive and yeah looks like graphic design didn't fit into the budget with all the 7 figure incomes these guys were earning.

Did it accept paypal ie people might have some protection or is the $49.95 gone for good. Really wanna see their ABN number and report them!

  • webs.com? seriously?

I wouldn't trust a company if they are using a free web host, especially if they don't even have their own domain name.

Just like an ad I have seen for a PC Repair guy, apparently he does website maintance/creation as well… he uses Hotmail for his email. Sure I know it's legit, but I would never trust him with my website.

    • damn I use hotmail and I do the odd web maintenance. no wonder I don't get too many offers :(

      • incredibly unprofessional >.>

my friend's screening of people by email:

        yahoo,msn wtf -> just no
hotmail -> get out. what is this year 2000?
uni email -> they don't know how to use email outside uni?
        ISP email -> slightly better
gmail -> they seem to at least know what they're doing
private domain email -> looks promising

        also

        fairy/man/sugar/power adjective names: just no
email composes of numbers : horrible but at least its better
slight derivation of own name: yes
        own name: yes
company name/position with company email or own name with company email: very yes

        • hey I use gmail/hotmail and ISP as well
          Uni email very rarely..but yeah

And being a poor uni student I am not getting my own domain anytime soon

        • I use gmail on my own domain ^_^

For professional purposes I use my full name, otherwise my nickname.

        • +1

i was in employment services and the number of people applying for jobs with "69" or "sexy" in their email address was incredible.

        • @spawnpoint

PROTIP: Having a private domain primarily to make your email look much better (ie. [email protected]) is absurdly cheap or even free.

          Examples:
          Hosting: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/34854
          Domains: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/40218

Such deals happen several times a year. Being arsed spending mere dollars gets results.
