Thanks in advance for the responders. I require to transport my 2006 Toyota Camry from Melbourne to Perth. I am looking for the cheapest option other than driving myself. Any recommendations for the transporters?

Selling it and buying a better one in Perth? :)

The monetary value is almost worthless, but the sentimental value is through the roof!

I think this is the best option for a car of that value…

Yeah, OP try to transport 2006 model, not 2018. OP has to think of what is economical not cheap.

Only issue would be selling the car, as market is flooded with too many of them, but even with $1k less than market price still a plus.
As it cost to transport, re registration, roadworthy test etc.

        Best time to upgrade :)

    2006 Toyota Camry

I'm not sure you can get it to WA for cheaper than it'd cost to buy.

Cheapest option would probs be something like https://cevacarcarrying.com.au/car-transport-melbourne-to-pe…

Works out to be just over $1k depot to depot which isn't too bad… Considering it'd cost you about $1000 in fuel + accommodation + food anyway…

There would probably be a couple of other options that'd be similar to this pricing, but transporting it depot to depot will be your best bet to keep costs down.

Would strongly recommend not to use Ceva.
      Read the reviews here https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/ceva
There are other options refer to https://www.jayde.com.au/car-transport-perth-to-melbourne
Also, get insurance through the transport company incase something goes wrong.

I've used Ceva before - I would agree that they are fairly trash.

It'll get there, but probably not when you want it to get there.

    • Considering it'd cost you about $1000 in fuel + accommodation + food anyway…

less own transport cost (e.g. one-way plane ticket).

      • plus the cost of your time..

        • plus the net cost of your time..

Put it on gumtree and see who needs a 1-way car hire.

    It's an option…

  • Agreed, sell it here rego’d and roadworthy and buy a WA registered car when you get to Perth.

  • ROAD TRIP

take your golf clubs and play the Nullabor Links - world's longest golf course.

    OR

    be boring and sell it.
