VIC Roads - Expired Licence. Can I Get a New One on The Spot?

My licence expired at the end of last week.

If I go into a Vic Roads Centre (hub @ exhibition) will they be able to issue me a new licence on the spot? Or will it need to be processed and sent out to me?

All it took was googling your title.

I’m not going to summarise it. You can click it and read.

OP, what did VicRoads say when you called them?

VicRoads said "Post your question on OzBargain".

You forgot, that they also said, "we take no responsibility for the answers or the flames you may get…"

      • You are caller number 454, your current wait time is 4 days, please call back 2021

  • If it’s been more than 10 years (I think) you may need to get a new photo taken.

I don't think VicRoads issue license on the spot anymore. It will be posted to you but they will issue a temp license so you can continue to drive.

    • They don't. They just give a paper slip.

OP, hope you're catching the bus to VicRoads.
