I added "I’d like to read this book on Kindle" on the amazon page for the bricks. Lets see how Amazon addresses my query.

Be aware some of them are pre orders for Aug 2011! I was about to buy the City one and noticed.

    • To add on to this these might be good for christmas presents.

      Your logic is flawed.
I have no kinds and I'm still going to buy some for me anyway :)

You mean we have to let kids play with these? They will just lose the bricks and stick them in places where they shouldn't ;-)

This is a great find, but are you sure they are eligible for for free shipping? In the terms and conditions page on free shipping it says only books, music and dvds.

    • When you go to the supplied amazon.co.uk link, every item listed is shown as eligible for super saver delivery. I assume that means this is fine. Also, these brickmaster sets contain a book, so it's possible that it's considered as a "book" as far as the amazon system is concerned.

As noteded above by sarakoth, be wary that some of these sets are preorders, to be released on Aug 2011.

      • Yeah I saw the eligible tags, but assumed that was relevant to whatever the terms are for UK, not necessarily the super saver delivery offer for aus. Would love to be wrong.

I test ordered a couple of these Lego sets, they are definitely eligible for free super saver shipping.

      • +1

Yes it's because they are classified as books. I added a couple of other lego items from another series that were tagged as super saver, and when I went to check out they disqualified the super saver shipping to aus. When I deleted those items, the shipping was free.

  • cool - thanks ozscharf

  • So will lego be free shipping to melbourne?

    • Melbourne, Nova Scotia - no
      Melbourne, Australia - yes :)

      • What about Melbourne, Florida, USA?

  • Thanks. I ordered a couple, and found this highly-rated DVD set to make the £25 for free post:
North & South (Complete BBC Series) [DVD] £2.91

  • If I preorder aswell as buy the ones avail will I need to wait till august to receive all orders??

    • yes, but order the preorders separately then u can get the stuff now!

    • Yes… I went thru the process to see if that would happen as I ordered 3 sets to get over the free shipping min. It said expected dispatch, 2nd Aug. I did choose the option to send the cheapest way.. I think you can pay more and have the sent separately.

  • How do I take of Meg vote damn iPhone It was supposed to be a +1 can op please remove

  • Thanks, ordered a couple + "The Lego Book", always been meaning to pick that one up but it's always like $60 or something here.

That + 2x Brickmaster sets = $56 with free shipping!

  • Excellent thread all!
I split mine into 2 orders and it worked great.
2 items on preorder for august, 3 items will be despatched in a few days. All with free shipping.
    Happy days!

  • anyone got the pirates sold by amazon? all I can find are from different sellers.

  • Me and my kids have several of these already, Atlantis seems to be our favourite.

  • Wow
    Order Placed: 28 April 2011
    Order receieved: 2 May 2011

    Amazing!!!

  • placed my order for many birthday and Christmas presents - at an average of $15 per set - VERY VERY happy

Just a word of warning - the Amazon people tried to do the currency conversion for me, but were going to shaft me to the tune of $20 or so, but I instead asked them to bill me in GBP, which VISA gave me a much better exchange rate, which I couldn't believe!!

    Thanks again, OzBargain
