I've started using notifyprice.com to track the price of things I've bought, setting triggers for when the item hits a price I'd put in a price protection claim for.
It's really helpful, if you aren't using it, I recommend.
I am having a bit of trouble with retailers. There don't seem to be heaps of Aussie retailers supported. Does anyone know of a master list?
Here is the current list… we stopped adding retailers world-wide because we were overwhelmed and were having trouble keeping up! For whatever reason I can't find how to reply to your comment directly @mctock but here they are in no particular order. Let me know if you have any problems with these or want us to add one you can't live without!
