Modem with VDSL2 for FTTN Connection

As the title says i'm looking for a VDSL2 compatible modem for my upcoming FTTN connection with Aussie Broadband.

I never thought buying a modem would be so confusing. I don't require VOIP and would prefer a Modem/Router combo with an above standard range if possible.
I don't really have a budget in mind because for something that runs 24/7, 365 with a decent warranty i'm happy to pay good money for.

I've seen there is a couple older posts but looking for a good deal on a newer model.

Any help is appreciated.

      Alright, since you have no budget limitation or feature requisites beside "above standard range" and not needing VoIP, then let me recommend this. But for the lack of redundancy this is a very capable SME-grade setup.

      Modem: Pick any registered modem with Broadcom chipset and put it into bridge mode. (Technicolor tg799vac & tg800vac as Telstra Gateway Max 1 & 2 are so cheap second hand that they are disposable items.)
      Router: An Ubiquiti UniFi gateway or a computer routing with pfsense or opnsense
      Switch: A minimum 8-port unmanaged switch. Preferably a 16+ ports VLAN capable managed switch (to isolate IoT devices from the LAN).
      Wi-Fi: An Ubiquiti UniFi WAP or a mesh system or better.

      You may wish to go all the way with Ubiquiti UniFi for everything bar the modem.
