David Allens - Getting Things Done

I was on the train today and a young guy was reading this book and I wondered if anyone on Ozbargain follows the GTD system?

I have a lot of things that have popped up recently and I could use a system to keep track of everything, but GTD seems like a lot of effort.

Does anyone on here use any time/productivity management systems ?

The old notepad and pen being the classic

  • If you have an iPhone, a lot of goods apps built on GTD philosophy e.g. 2Do

  • This might be exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks

I've been meaning to read this but I haven't got around to it yet.

  • Its in my library http://library.deep-blue-sea.net/Getting%20Things%20Done/

My main rule is if it takes < 2 minutes, do it now.

    • Does that really work? Like signing a contract for example; sure it might take less than 2 mins but the consequences may take much longer

    • shoot thanks.. that's the whole book :)
