      Copyright was originally designed to give you the "right to copy" the work after the author/owner had collected royalties for a certain number of years.

      You can get many (around 58,000) more free, old books from Project Gutenberg. They also have some audiobooks and a Top 100 list

    Cheap audiobooks on them too. I highly recommend as Stephen Fry reads them.

    Does this version of Mark Twain's work have the unspeakable n-word removed from them to make it seem as though the olden times were great and no one was being racist at all?

      Just did a quick search for "nig" and "neg" in the "Look Inside" link. Plenty there, so nope.

    Doesn't appearto be free. Comes up as $0.94 for Sherlock Holmes collection. Is it only me?
