Just noticed this deal with Appliances Central on their ebay store. Been looking for the NU8000 for a while, cheapest I've found so far.

$984 + $40 for delivery (for me, to vic metro) = $1024

    Main takeaways are:

    • Lower input latency/lag
    • Better peak brightness
    • Better HDR due to the peak brightness
    • Smoother motion and less motion blur
    • Adapative refresh rate (FreeSync) support

    If you were planning on using it as a monitor or to play games on either PC or console, it seems like a really good choice.

    I wanted the 7100 - but specifically avoided it simply because it doesn't have 5ghz wifi - only 2.4 ghz.

    The NU8000 has both (as far as I can deduce).

  It's kind of important to me. It works on my existing MU6100 - but I can't just assume.
