In-Ear Earphones with Good Noise Isolation < $40

Looking for some In-ear earphones to wear in bed, but need to have good noise isolation. Only needs to be passive noise isolation to keep the sound of the air conditioner out. Mainly used for listening to podcasts, so music quality is a bit secondary to noise isolation. Ideally they would also have a microphone for mobile phone calls.

Currently using some TDK ones from OfficeWorks. They are ok, but I suspect they won't last much longer.

I don't want heavy or hard cords as I will often have my face lying against them.

    Maybe try some with replaceable tips you can change to foam tips? Even with nothing playing they block sound exceptionally. They have a very snug fit in the ear canal so they might not be comfortable for all night.

    Foam tips seems strange as many of the more expensive in ear noise isolation earphones have silicon parts to form a good seal.

    Talking about the included tips, they are simple rubber tips that don’t have anything special about them but do their work of keeping the KZ ZS5 inside your ears nicely with a decent seal. This seal really helps make the ZS5 one of the most isolating IEM I’ve used lately, so they might be a bit too isolating if you plan to wear them on a crowded street. This is really nice for places where you need to be concentrated though, such as a library for example.

      I wonder what they would be like if in bed with your head side ways on the pillow. They look like they have a big body.

        Xiaomi air capsule is great for using in bed with head side ways and very comfy. Give it a shot

          Thanks for the suggestion. Mixed reviews about how good the seal is. Also there is only one size and it is not removable.
