    That's odd. Mine still shows $1 even after signing in and going to the checkout.

    Note that my last Game Pass was the $2 for 2 months which expired back in October so maybe there's a time limit. Also I never used my 14 day free trial either if that matters.

      My GamePass is still current, so it shows me $10.95 to add a renewal month. I bought a year's worth because I share it with my nephew.

    I recently did the first month for $1 (Jan 1st, ended Feb 1st this year)

    Same account, just did it again for $1.

      You are right. It appears this deal currently works for people without active subscription. I tested it on an account that used the voucher, got the 1 month extra for keeping auto-renew on during the sign up, but without active subscription, it is showing $1 all the way to the payment screen. My main account is still on $2 for 2 months so I don't want to go through with it.

  This offer has been around for a little while. It is limited to new customers only and has to be new customers (existing customers with expired subscription won't work). So, for most people, to use it, you will need to create a brand new account. Reason being, XB1X consoles and some XB1S consoles come with a voucher for GamePass and that too is limited to new customers only (so officially, it is either use that voucher or this).

  So in a way, this is kinda for XB1S owners who didn't get a GamePass voucher included, but seriously Microsoft, those people would have at least went for the $1/month deal around Christmas already.

  Bottom line, you want to get this deal, create a new account.

    Sorry, just tested it. Like people pointed out, it is currently working for accounts without an active subscription (even if it previously had GamePass subscription). So, if you are interested, might want to join soon. Microsoft sometimes does change things.

    Since it is working for existing users as well currently, definitely deserves a big +.
