Access Lounge at Bangkok Airport

I am flying Thai Airways with 5 hours stop over in Bangkok. I am travelling with 2 kids so would to access Lounge at the airport.

I have ANZ Qantas black but it appears that Veloce Program has revoked Bangkok access.

Which other credit card or membership allows free Lounge access at Bangkok airport?

  • I’m in a similar situation with my flight in September, although my layover is about 7 hours. I head buying the King Power membership is a way to get into a lounge? Also apparently you can buy lounge passes direct from Thai Australia as well but details are sketchy for both options. Any tips to pass the time would be great.

P.S. I want to stay airside at the airport.

  • There are some pay to enter lounges at Bangkok - I have never been to those ones - but more info:-

If you are flying business or first class on the next flight, you have complimentary access to their Royal Silk or Royal First lounges respectively.

I use Loungebuddy, an iPhone app (presumably on Android as well)

Has a few lounges in most places for not much $ ($40 per person) usually with access to free food, booze, showers, etc. with reviews

I have used it in Bangkok and was a life saver at the end of a very long trip flying coach (usually fly towards the pointy end, but booked out…)

    • Following this thread with interest…

Which BKK lounges on Loungebuddy have you tried and prefer?

The different Miracle lounges seem to have very mixed reviews.

Miracle First Class Level 3. Supposedly 2 hours for $164 for 4 of us, but we were there a lot longer, and it was quiet.

In the scheme of things, a good way to finish a $45k 6 week holiday, considering we had to fly coach

    • $40 could of paid for a hotel.

      • Not in transit at the airport

  • Star alliance gold.

Bankwest world mastercard gives you and your accompanying friends unlimited free lounge access. $270/year fee.

  • Another option is to get Citibank Diners club card for $135 per year to get unlimited lounge access globally for yourself and your guests.
