Telstra One Number/NumberShare Apple Watch $5 a Month

Hi All
New to the apple watch Cellular.
i bought one yesterday.

As soon as i connected it up to my phone, Telstra option popped up and said link up numbershare/One Number for 5$ a month.

a friend of mine has his with Optus for free, but paid 5$ upfront to link it up.

HAs anyone found a free way to link up the watch with telstra plans? What really is the cost of having an apple watch linked to your account that youve paid for, already.

I feel, given that we pay 40$ a month already, it should be free. Maybe im just being a cheapo.

    Looking at Telstra plans these days, $40 a month ($ sign goes on the left in this country BTW), is a cheap plan!

    Move to optus then?

    On Telstra you have to pay to include the Apple watch connectivity.

    Optus is only free for a couple of months I believe.

    And its a service so i guess they charge for it.

    Add it,

    Complain about something to a chat rep and ask for a monthly $5 credit.

    That's what I did.

    Yeah I fell for this when I bought mine through Telstra. No one says you have to use it though… :)
