    I've got two of these. Had them over two years.

    When delivered, one was missing the bolts that connect it to the stand. After a few emails, Kogan gave me a generous refund to go buy my own.

    Other than that, they've been brilliant and I never thought they'd last this long.

    I've read the reviews and all I can say is that I've either been given a lucky batch or I'm just more careful with the product. I do always fold them down when not in use and place the cover back on. But they are always out in the open and placed next to the pool all year. Great fabric, no fading, no rust and no broken cords (although I could understand how they could snap if pulled too tight). They still look new.

    I was actually looking at buying one again for a friend earlier in the year. I'm sure it was the same price and had free shipping as standard. Then I saw the exact same looking umbrella at Bunnings online for the same price. But for the life of me I can't find it again.

    Anyway, enough ramblings. I say to those looking, given the ease of communication with Kogan, the price when compared to others and how long mine have lasted, go get one.

    Thanks OP. I have an intense dislike for Kogan, their appalling service and the crap they sell, but for the price, and free delivery, this is a good deal. Previous similar ones I've had last a couple of years no problem. The cover is a nice touch not normally found at this entry level price. It really should go without saying that they need a weight on the base to stop it tipping over. The description even makes that pretty clear. Some cheap pavers from Bunnings have nicely done the trip for me for years.

      Thanks OP. Got mine. I have had one of these before, and although it’s clearly not the highest quality product, it does the job if you are using it infrequently. Agree with 8anddrank, the cover is the key to it lasting longer than one summer.
