  • Has anyone found the deal in the app? I'm looking and can't find it (it's still listed as full price). Is there a list of participating restaurants? Never mind- found it - it is under new products! :)

Bought 21 pieces and added 4 sides for another $10 (chips, pot n gravy and two 1.25l drinks) altogether for $30.95.

I'm officially retired from breathing anymore.

    • I don’t think you’re supposed to eat it all yourself…

      • I want to watch someone eat it to themselves

    • I was pondering that but figured the KFC alone was bad enough!

  • I am in WA and this deal is available in the app - I just placed an order for pickup later in the arvo. So go get em boys and girls!!!

Get this deal on the front page again. I want people to die

  • Thanks OP! Just ordered from the app. Saved us from having to cook for several days

    • how are you going to store all the left overs and how many meals for how many people do you think it will feed?

      • +1

We'll experiment with freezing some. Feeding two people. If freezing works, next deal we'll order 4 buckets. Meals for two months sorted.

I found reheating KFC can make it less greasy. Not sure from frozen but from fridge temp if you place the chicken on the oven rack at around 180c for 15 to 20 minutes as it heats up so much grease drips off of it. Obviously place a tray at the bottom of the oven to catch the drips. Possibly even turn the chicken half way through reheating. It's still unhealthy but I seriously feel less lethargic after eating 3 pieces of KFC reheated this way than eating three straight from the store.

          • @Joey Jo Jo: Genuine question: how does eating extra fat make one lethargic? I understand the mechanism of eating too much sugar causing the blood sugar high and crash, and have experienced this. I am not aware of an issue from eating extra fat causing lethargy.

@muppet: Well I tend to not each much trans fats so my body isn't use to it. When I do eat it I'm left very lethargic

  • Most of the stores near me or in Brisbane city area doesn't accept mobile ordering…

    Missing the deal…

  • mine on the app still shows 38???

    • It’s in the new products - have you looked there?

    • It is not at all stores. Try some others nearby

  • Oh boy… the regret is real…
