Can they check human as well? Dentist nowadays is too expensive…

    • +5

yes, please bring urself to nearest vet.

      • they will probably throw in a neutering for free.

Is this like a dental check doggie style?

    • I also wondered. All I've seen with teeth is a visual check. A more thorough check with instruments is done during descaling. However, that's generally for old dogs with more tartar than teeth as it involves a light general anaesthetic which is expensive.

  • Sorry, where is the FREEBIE?

Where does it say that these Vets will check the dog FOR FREE?

Where are the terms & conditions for this free checkup?

    • +1

It says it's FREE on the website. There's also a TV ad.. also stating it's FREE. You just have to find a vet that will do it FREE and the website helps to find one of those selected vets that do provide the service for FREE.

      • Thanks, Kimba.

  • will they provide any treatment?
or they will just ask us to pay for expensive treatment??

    • I doubt they'll provide any free treatment, as this is just a 'check'. They'll probably ask your dog to sit, say cheeze and tell ya that your dogs either looking good, or they'll slap ya face with some expensive treatment. Sort of like getting quotes from companies.

Even just to get quotes, this Offer appears to still be very good value.

Vets normally charge $50 just to step foot in the door, even to check your Dog's teeth!

      • If then stat of 4 out of 5 is true - bets are there is a necessary treatment to be provided! he he

  • No doubt they'll quickly look for other things (fleas, hotspots, etc..) and very quickly make money out of this.

Quite possibly a very good 'drive' to get people to start taking their dogs to the vet; (going by the amount of dogs that have gum disease) 4 out of 5 dog owners aren't taking fido for his regular check-up!
