Found this deal while I was looking at stores to price match with at Officeworks. They have it for $128 right now, but was able to price match and add 5% off. Only heard good things about this mouse.

  • Officeworks price match Amazon?

    • Yep. Didn't think they did as well, but they were generous enough to :)

      • +2

How generous of them to follow their own store policy. Imagine that. :D

        • Been to JB Hi-Fi to pricematch Amazon before, but they said they can't do it. Must only be my local store, but it was great to see OW pricematching it :) haha

        • The real store policy is to ask the manager , who’s and old bastardised that starts telling. That overrides franchise policy as the teen dosnt want to lose their job.

  • ..or you can just use cashrewards for that 5% saving

    • Surely, but I guess if you have a nearby officeworks might as well get the item now and save the money, rather than waiting for the cashback process to apply

      • +1

And, remember, the 5% cash back is on the ex-GST price.

  • Got the older version (MX Master) and for daily use in an office, it's worth the purchase! Only real downside is the battery in that it'll run out every two weeks, or 80 hours. Supposedly this version has a better battery life, so go for it.

    • +1

The battery has definitely improved on the MX Master 2S compared to the previous generations. But the downside is that the battery is no longer replaceable in the MX Master 2S (And MX Master too!)

On the MX Master 2S, I think I can get 40-50 days (I never turn the mouse off!)

I use this mouse every day, it's amazing, highly recommend it!

    • Agree. It’s a pleasure to use.

    • Is it heavy like the Version 1?

      • Yes it is quite heavy.

  • Not sure if Officeworks would price match amazon, at least not my local store. But this mx master is real good.

  • Great mouse! Very ergo and works with multiple devices.
Some applications don't really work well with the vertical scroll wheel. Might want to keep that in mind.

    • Hardly anything works well with the second wheel. It's mostly a gimmick and scrolls very slowly.

  • +1

Can't recommend this mouse enough! A lot of people don't realise just how often they use their mouse everyday.

I got mine for $47 back in August but after using it for the past few months I'd have gladly paid double that.

  • At $128 bucks you could buy the superior performing G903 (in terms of wireless lag and weight but battery is 32 hours) although you won't have the two computers on one mouse functionality. It is a very good wireless gaming mouse.

    • Only problem with the G903 is that when you rage and smash the mouse on the table, the thumb buttons go flying off and you need to do a treasure hunt for them….or so I've heard.

  • Missed out!! :(

  • Bought on boxing day for more, and it's definitely a GREAT mouse (using it now)

  • Scored one from JB a few months back for $89…best mouse I have ever owned!

  • It's back in stock

    • Gone again.

  • Just got this mouse from Amazon!! It’s not out of stock..amazing price. Had an eye on this one since long ..

    • How? it shows $126.99 when I click the link.

      • Sorry buddy looks like they changed the price when you checked it out. I got mine at $89..

i've had this mouse since BingLee 20% off sales,
    and it's quite decent mouse

    you can configure short-cut keys,
but the issue to watch out for, is the middle-scroll can develop a fault,
from being "clicky" (ratcheting) to a "free-spinning" wheel.

    • +3

You know it's a button that switches between them, and by default if you fast scroll it'll auto release and go to free spinning and return to ratcheting when you stop?

      • And you can turn the feature on and off and with the Logitech Options software change when it transitions. One of the best features I have found.

        • Can even adjust exactly how much force you need to put on the scrollwheel before it activates the free-spin mode.

That guy should really have at least googled what was happening (or read the box) before complaining about a non-existent fault…

          • -1

@Shekster: Before buying the mouse, I already knew:
            - about the button that switches between the 2 x scrolling options
            - turning feature on/off in Logitech Options

In fact, @Shekster says I should have at least "googled" what was happening,
when I don't have any issues with this mouse, nor was I complaining.

I was pointing out that plenty on the Internet (e.g. Amazon, Youtube) have said that this mouse,
unpredictably develops this fault from ratcheting to free-spinning.
( there are mechanical fixes posted on Youtube too )

I knew about ALLLLL this issues before buying this mouse.

In fact, I also have the Logitech Craft keyboard too and together, MX Master 2S and the Craft keyboard, works well…with the unifying receiver.

  • That’s not a fault, it’s a feature ;)

    • You're holding it the wrong way.

    • see my reply above.

it was just a cautionary note :-)
for some people to do some research about that nasty fault
