Permanent Price Drop on All Hylamide Skin Care Products (at Least 20% Drop) Core Series Set 4 Products $88 Delivered @ Deciem

140

Deciem, the abnormal beauty company behind The Ordinary, have announced that they have dropped prices across all their Hylamide products, fulfilling a promise that the late founder Brandon Truaxe made last year. This is a permanent price drop that's here to stay.

They are also reducing the core series set of all 4 products by a further 20% to $88 (compared to buying the products individually at the new prices).

HA blur was reduced from $24 to AUD $15, and SubQ Skin (formally Anti-Age) from $48 to $34 last year and their prices haven't dropped further this time.

It looks like Myer has adjusted their prices to match but Adore Beauty haven't, you can use Adore Beauty as a reference of the original price. There is a rumour that Priceline may cease to stock Deciem products, you may be able to find Hylamide at clearance prices in certain stores.

I have not personally used Hylamide, only The Ordinary, but the Hylamide formulas are more complex as they combine multiple active ingredients, compared to The Ordinary which tends to focus on one or two active ingredients per product. With Hylamide you could simplify your routine. There are plenty of reviews around should you wish to do some research.

wonder why priceline is not sticking anymore. Is this conformed?

They're always so popular that they run out of stock so it's a suprise to not sell them anymore =/

    • I'm not quite sure about the details, someone mentioned in a beauty forum that that's what she was told by Priceline staff.

      • All deceim products including the ordinary, or just hylamide line?

        • She was talking about The Ordinary specifically, but since Hylamide is at clearance prices on the Priceline store I just assumed that Hylamide is included.

    • Have edited description to clarify that it's not official.

  • I can't wait to simplify my routine.

Except I have no routine to simplify :)

The Priceline special is definitely the best part of this bargain - I'd been intending to try out SubQ anti-age and I picked some up yesterday at more than 40% off the new lowered price, as well as the Vitamin C serum which was more than 50% off.

As of 6pm last night, Lidcombe (NSW) store had stock of all of the 7 lines from the Priceline website (and also the Glow serum which wasn't on the website) though I think only 1 of the Low Molecular HA. The label on the shelf still showed the original price, but at the register it scanned at the discounted price.

    • Nice! I wasn't sure if there would be stock in store. Glad you grabbed some :)

      • Yes indeedy, thanks for the post!

It's interesting that The Ordinary products weren't on sale. I wonder if Priceline might just be divesting themselves of the Hylamide range (maybe the margin is lower with the new pricing) rather than all Deciem products.

        • It could be. Priceline always carried a limited range of TO, even less than Myer. They also don't have the TO foundation which Myer carry.

    • I picked up the C25 Vitamin C serum at $20 at Priceline Haymarket, it was the last one left. There were other products still there - the cleanser, subQ eyes and subQ anti-age, pore delete, photography foundation.
